Vintrepid is a direct importer of small-batch French wines, sourced from independent producers across regions like Burgundy, Loire Valley, Beaujolais and the Rhône. We curate wine boxes and subscription packs — all importer-direct, with no middlemen or bottle shop markups.

Choose from two subscription options — the Discovery Pack (3 different wines, with the option to double up) or the House Pack (6 bottles you select).

Wines are delivered every three months, and you can pause, cancel or change your selection anytime.

All wines are French, small-batch, and made by independent winemakers. We focus on wines that are organically farmed, expressive of place, and often found on top restaurant lists — not supermarket shelves.

Yes. You can order any of our curated one-off wine boxes — no subscription required. Perfect if you're trying Vintrepid for the first time or want to send a gift.

You can send any wine box as a gift — just add your message at checkout and we’ll include a handwritten card.
You can also gift a subscription, or send a digital wine gift card if you want them to choose for themselves.

We offer free standard shipping to metro and major regional centres. This covers approximately 70% of the population. Outside of these areas we charge a simple $15 flat rate.

This is one we get asked a lot. To us, they are of course natural, but they do not fall into the box of what modern-day natural wine looks like. The wines are elegant, and conventional in style without faults.

We like to work with producers who care about their land and farm with dedication and purpose. Many are organic, some even biodynaamic. For us, this is the most important aspect.

The whole point of Vintrepid is to take care of the decisions for you. Just by chosing Vintrepid you are taking a French wine journey of discovery.

That said, our house wine subscription does allow you to choose either red or white, if you are not happy with the default option of mixed.

We deliver across all of Australia — metro and regional. If your address is outside standard coverage, just contact us and we’ll do our best to help.

Our founder, Chris Harag, worked across Europe sourcing wine for Michelin-starred restaurants. Every bottle in a Vintrepid box is handpicked based on quality, authenticity and value — not label or hype.
