Domaine Taupenot-Bautista

About the Winemaker

Located in the village of Mercurey, Domaine Taupenot-Bautista is one of the Côte Chalonnaise’s rising stars. Led by winemaker Manu Bautista and his nephew Anthony, the estate has built a reputation for producing finely structured, expressive Burgundy from sustainably farmed vineyards.

Since 2016, the domaine has operated from a state-of-the-art gravity-fed winery, allowing for gentle handling of fruit and precise fermentations. Wines undergo cold soak maceration, slow fermentation, and élevage in Chassin barrels — mostly older oak, with a touch of new for Premier Cru cuvées.

Why we work with them

These are Burgundies that over-deliver — plush, poised, and polished, but never overworked. The attention to detail is meticulous, and the results speak for themselves: wines with lift, texture, and incredible value.
