Domaine Tupinier-Bautista, based in Mercurey, has been producing Pinot Noir since the 18th century, today led by winemaker Manu Bautista. Known for crafting structured, characterful reds, the estate brings the same precision and care to its Bourgogne Rouge as it does to its celebrated Mercurey crus.
The 2022 release is generous and balanced: bright red cherry and raspberry wrapped in notes of spice and forest floor. Fine tannins and a silky texture make it approachable now, yet it has the structure to age gracefully over the next few years. A pure and classic expression of Burgundy Pinot Noir.
