At Vintrepid, we don’t buy from catalogues — we go straight to the source.


That means travelling through regions like Loire Valley, Champagne, and Burgundy, meeting producers, and tasting wines where they’re actually made — often straight from the cellar.


Our last trip was with Jess and our 4-month-old, which made things a bit chaotic but didn’t change how we work. This time, I’m heading back in June with a wine-obsessed mate to hunt for new gems.
We’re looking for small producers, wines that overdeliver, and bottles you won’t find anywhere else in Australia.


The best ones usually involve following tip, research and also recommendations from our current producers. 


We’ll try to share more on Instagram over the upcoming trip (even if it’s not our strength), but that’s the process: travel, taste, and bring back wines worth drinking.
